The "SLX-300" is a dedicated roughness measuring machine for gears that applies measurement technology developed through existing gear measurement to achieve measurement in a new field. This single unit resolves the measurement tact of the operator and the variability in measurements. In automatic measurement mode, it automatically measures from gear specifications, and the measuring probe rotates automatically perpendicular to the tooth surface based on the gear's twist angle.
